New Utah Mormon Wives series premieres, featuring original cast.
Hulu announced a new spin‑off of the reality series “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” during its Get Real event on April 22. The new series, titled “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County,” will feature a new cast that includes McCall DaPron, Aspyn Ovard, Bobbi Althoff, Avery Woods, Salomé Andrea, Chandler Higginson, Ashleigh Pease and Madison Bontempo. Current stars Miranda Hope, Layla Taylor, Mayci Neeley and Jessi Draper served as presenters at the event and expressed support for the expansion into the West Coast setting.
Production for the original show’s fifth season is set to resume later this year after a temporary halt caused by domestic‑violence allegations involving voice actor Layla “Frankie” Paul and her former partner Dakota Mortensen. The production team confirmed that filming will continue, although it is unclear whether Paul or Mortensen will appear in the upcoming season. The new Orange County installment is scheduled to debut on Hulu later in 2026.
