Pitbull Leads Massive Bald‑Cap Crowd to World Record Achievement
On July 10, a crowd of 22,141 people gathered in London’s Hyde Park for the BST Hyde Park music festival, all wearing bald caps. The event was organized to break the Guinness World Records title for the largest number of people dressed in bald caps at a single venue. The record was officially recognized by Guinness World Records later that day.
The tally required the performer himself—rapper Armando Christian Pérez, known as Pitbull—to wear a bald cap. Guinness adjudicator Will Munford oversaw the verification. Four hundred volunteers on site counted participants, and drones captured footage with 42 counters backstage to confirm the attendance.
The idea originated with British podcaster Jack Remington, who announced the attempt on TikTok in October 2025. He noted that Hyde Park’s 65,000‑person capacity could accommodate the required crowd. Pitbull learned of the proposal via TikTok, then approved and joined the event.
The Guinness World Records database now lists the record as achieved on 10 July 2026, with 22,141 participants in a celebratory gathering at BST Hyde Park.
