Committee opens youth soccer clinic prioritizing mental well‑being.
In a community event held Sunday at Haulover Park, the Miami Host Committee organized the One Game One Future youth soccer clinic ahead of the 2026 World Cup. The program featured a coach‑led workshop that included a variety of soccer drills for local children.
Grassroots Soccer, a health organization that partners with the committee, provided a session focused on mental health education. The group described the clinic as part of its Mind Skills initiative, designed to use soccer metaphors to teach children about mental health and healthy living.
Participants in the clinic were introduced to life‑saving information and ways to improve overall well‑being as part of the organization’s ongoing outreach efforts.
The event was held in Miami on April 26, 2026, and brought together local youth and coaches to promote sport and mental health awareness. The activity was organized under the guidance of the Miami Host Committee and supported by Grassroots Soccer.
