Country Singer Riley Green Becomes New Coach on ‘The Voice’ Season 30

The NBC reality series “The Voice” will add Queen Latifah and country artist Riley Green to its coaching panel for Season 30, set to premiere in September. Queen Latifah, the Grammy‑winning performer, is expected to make her first appearance on the show after guest judging on “America’s Got Talent.” Riley Green joins three established coaches, including Adam Levine and Kelly Clarkson. Green has previously performed on the program, appearing with Ella Langley in the Season 26 finale and returning for a Season 28 performance.

According to NBC, the new season will feature four coaches who will mentor contestants during the blind auditions, battles, and live shows. The announcement came after Green confirmed his role on the show through an Instagram post, in which he shared a call from Kelly Clarkson welcoming him to the coaching team.

The lineup is confirmed by NBC and includes four distinct musical backgrounds: pop, country, hip‑hop, and adult contemporary, aiming to diversify the series’ appeal. No changes to the show’s format or broadcast schedule have been reported.

Fans of the series can expect the coaching dynamics to shift, with Queen Latifah and Riley Green bringing new perspectives to the competition set to launch in September.
