Fast and Furious 25th Anniversary Hits Cannes Stage
Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, and Meadow Walker attended a photo‑call in Cannes on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of “The Fast and the Furious.” The event took place during the 79th International Film Festival.
The festival’s lineup lacks many Hollywood releases, so the organizers scheduled a midnight screening of the franchise’s first film to fill the void. The screening marked the beginning of the ten‑movie series that has grossed more than $7 billion worldwide.
Walker, 27, is the daughter of the late actor Paul Walker, who died in an automobile accident in Los Angeles in 2013. She joined the cast for the anniversary appearance.
Vin Diesel was photographed flexing, while the other actors posed for photographers on the festival grounds. Photographers captured the group in formal attire.
Universal Pictures has announced that an 11th installment, titled “Fast Forever,” is slated for release in March 2028. No further details about the film have been released at this time.
