Police Captured Thieves Who Attacked Store Near Parkland Canal.
In the early hours of Friday, authorities responded to a robbery in the 3800 block of North University Drive in Sunrise, Florida. Officers were dispatched at 2:19 a.m. after reports of an armed robbery involving a firearm.
The suspect fled the scene in a vehicle, which later crashed into a canal near the intersection of Loxahatchee Road and Nob Hill Road in Parkland. The crash occurred a short distance from the robbery location.
Surveillance confirmed that one suspect was apprehended and taken into custody, while another suspect remains at large. Police are continuing the investigation and have not released additional details.
The incident has been reported to local and state agencies, and the case remains open pending further evidence. No injuries were reported in the crash.
