Miami‑Dade arrests driver who fled with stolen Cadillac
A 26‑year‑old man was taken into custody after a brief pursuit in northwestern Miami‑Dade County on Wednesday.
Deputies from the Miami‑Dade Sheriff’s Office noted a black four‑door Cadillac, listed as stolen in Miami Gardens, accelerating toward Northwest 22nd Avenue and 151 Street. Three unmarked patrol vehicles followed the driver. One performed a PIT maneuver, bringing the vehicle to a stop on Northwest 152 Street.
The driver exited the vehicle and ran eastbound across Rail Road Drive, heading toward a house yard near Opa‑locka. Officers in dark uniforms apprehended him before he reached the train tracks, placed him in handcuffs, and escorted him to a marked sheriff’s patrol car. Police identified the suspect as Klauss Anthony Moise.
Moise, who has prior criminal record including a 2022 charge of accessory after the fact in the death of Amanda Collins, was moved to a marked Florida Highway Patrol vehicle for transport. He now faces new charges related to the incident.
Residents are urged to contact Miami‑Dade County Crime Stoppers at 305‑471‑8477 with any information.
