Tesla driver hurt after car crashes into tree and bursts into flame
A Tesla vehicle collided with a tree on Southwest 32nd Avenue near Hallandale Beach Boulevard around noon on Saturday. The impact caused the car to burst into flames. After the accident, law enforcement and emergency services responded to the scene.
The driver was transported to a hospital as a trauma alert. No public statements regarding the driver’s identity or condition have been released. Authorities are investigating how the vehicle lost control.
A mailbox and part of a fence in front of a neighboring residence were also damaged, but no homes were struck. Local residents expressed relief that the crash did not result in greater property damage.
