Police confirm identity of Miami‑Dade shooting victim
A 30‑year‑old man was found dead in Miami‑Dade County early Saturday morning.
Authorities identified the victim as Deondre Willis, 30, who was shot near the intersection of Southwest 217th Street and 120th Avenue at approximately 2:45 a.m. Local police responded to the scene shortly after the shooting was reported.
Willis was transported to Jackson South Medical Center, where he was treated in a critical condition. Medical staff later pronounced him deceased at the hospital.
