Javier Bardem Celebrated With Hollywood Handprint Display
Actor Javier Bardem was inducted into the TCL Chinese Theatre forecourt on Tuesday, 2026. The ceremony marked his entry into the historic Hollywood tradition of hand‑and‑footprints. The event took place at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood’s Sunset Strip.
The program included appearances by fellow filmmakers Michael Mann and Denis Villeneuve, who welcomed Bardem to the ceremony. Both directors acknowledged the actor’s extensive body of work and the impact of his performances.
Bardem is best known for his Academy Award‑winning role as Anton Chigurh in No Country for Old Men and for starring in titles such as Skyfall, Dune, The Biutiful, Being the Ricardos, and Before Night Falls. He has earned Oscar nominations for three of those projects.
He is also executive producing and starring in the upcoming Apple TV+ limited series Cape Fear, alongside Amy Adams. The ceremony concluded with a formal recognition of Bardem’s career achievements and future projects.
