Police probe bomb threat near Dolphin Mall, shoppers calm.

A bomb threat was reported at Dolphin Mall in Miami‑Dade County early on Sunday. Sweetwater Police were dispatched after receiving the notification and began a safety sweep of the shopping center.

The officers conducted a “cursory search” before determining the mall was safe. Commercial operations were resumed before 11 a.m., allowing staff and shoppers to re-enter the premises.

Sweetwater Police stated they would keep a visible presence in the area to maintain public safety. The Miami‑Dade Sheriff’s Office issued a statement that false bomb threats are a criminal act and have committed to investigate and pursue charges.

No injuries or damages were reported. The mall remained closed only briefly, and no additional incidents have been reported.
