Deputies arrest suspect for cocaine after traffic stop, footage shows.
Lee County police issued a traffic stop on Tuesday after a vehicle was observed swerving between lanes on an unidentified road. A deputy approached the passenger window and asked for the occupants’ names before ordering a K‑9 to inspect the car and instructing the individuals to exit.
During the search, deputies noted a woman attempting to conceal a bag that subsequently fell and was found to contain cocaine. The vehicle also held a shoebox in the trunk filled with the drug and related paraphernalia. Official statements confirm that over 44 grams of cocaine were recovered and that all contraband was linked to the passenger, Jacqueline Stacy.
Stacy was handcuffed, taken to Deputy’s Office, and is now held on multiple drug charges. Law enforcement has not released further details about potential additional charges or arraignment dates.
The incident was captured on body‑camera footage, which remains under investigation. No injuries were reported, and traffic in the area was cleared after the stop.
