Mandy Moore speaks about tensions among a mothers’ circle.
Mandy Moore, 42, responded to allegations that she was part of a “toxic mom group” described by former Disney star Ashley Tisdale in a January blog post and article. Tisdale asserted that the group engaged in mean‑girl behavior, but did not name its members. Social media speculation linked Moore, Meghan Trainor, and Hilary Duff to the alleged group, and each has denied the claim.
Moore appeared on TODAY in a May 19 interview, explaining that she feels supported by other parents and rejects the notion that moms compete negatively. She also discussed a separate May 18 interview on Sirius XM’s “Andy Cohen Live” in which she said the situation was upsetting and that kindness is a priority for her.
In January, Trainor posted a TikTok video that appeared to respond to Tisdale’s essay, while Duff’s husband, Matthew Koma, shared a mock image on Instagram suggesting a reaction to the allegations. Duff later spoke on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, stating she was surprised and saddened by the accusations.
No representative for Tisdale has responded to requests for comment.
