Video shows response to deadly Boynton Beach helicopter crash

Boynton Beach helicopter crash kills all passengers on board.

Federal and local authorities released a video shortly after a fatal helicopter crash that occurred on March 23 at about 12:30 p.m. in Boynton Beach, Florida. The incident involved a Robinson R44 that collided with the roof of a vacant warehouse on the 3800 block of South Congress Avenue.

The investigation identified two victims: 28‑year‑old Alejandro Carrasco, a flight instructor from West Palm Beach, and 52‑year‑old Bryan Menna, a student pilot originally from Michigan. Both died from the impact.

The footage shows responding emergency personnel inside the warehouse, searching the debris for evidence. The tail section of the helicopter, which pierced the structure, is visible in body‑camera images captured exclusively by the reporting station.

Flight data from FlightAware indicates the helicopter departed from downtown Fort Lauderdale en route to a Boynton Beach hospital but never reached its destination. The incident is currently under active investigation by county and federal aviation authorities.
