Iowa woman surrenders at Miami-Dade jail after punching teenage girl in face on Carnival cruise ship

Iowa woman arrested in Miami‑Dade after Carnival cruise assault.

Jennifer Frost, 44, of Collins, Iowa, surrendered to authorities in Miami-Dade County on Monday after a March 19 incident on Carnival’s Sunrise cruise ship. Frost was accompanied by her attorney when she appeared at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center. She is charged with aggravated battery for punching a teenage passenger.

The victim, a young girl aboard the cruise, was eating in the ship’s Lido Market restaurant when Frost, reportedly intoxicated, confronted her. Frost allegedly jumped from the line of the victim’s friends, later lashed out and struck the girl in the face, causing a nosebleed. Ship security detained Frost after the assault, and body‑camera footage shows she admitted the attack and expressed satisfaction with her actions.

Surveillance video captured the punch, and witnesses followed Frost after she fled. Despite being initially detained on the ship, Frost managed to disembark at PortMiami without interaction from law enforcement and later returned home to Iowa.

After hiring an attorney, Frost voluntarily returned to Miami to comply with the arrest. She is currently held at TGK and may face a bond that has yet to be set.
