Police investigate deadly shooting in Pembroke Park tonight.
Broward County investigators are examining a fatal shooting that occurred just before 1 a.m. Sunday at the Orion gas station on 3990 W. Hallandale Beach Blvd. in Pembroke Park. The site was cordoned off at the intersection of Hallandale Beach Boulevard and Southwest 40th Avenue for several hours while evidence was collected.
Detectives focused on a red Dodge vehicle, retrieving multiple pieces of evidence in the morning. Numerous evidence items were documented around the scene by police units from Hallandale Beach, Pembroke Park and the Broward Sheriff’s Office. The Broward Sheriff’s Office will lead the homicide inquiry.
Officials have not released details about the victim’s identity, the circumstances leading to the shooting, or whether any suspects have been identified or detained.
