West Park vehicle collision kills one, injures six

Seventy‑six km southeast of Miami, a multi‑vehicle collision occurred late Saturday night on the intersection of Pembroke Road and Southwest 46th Avenue in West Park, Florida. The incident involved several participants and caused a chaotic traffic pile‑up.

Emergency responders from Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue arrived and treated at least seven injured individuals. Among those injured were several trauma patients, including a child. The responders transported victims to nearby medical facilities: HCA Florida Aventura Hospital and Memorial Regional Hospital.

A fatality was confirmed when a patient brought to the hospital later died. The cause of the crash has not been disclosed, and investigators have not released preliminary statements regarding the event’s circumstances.
