Victoria Beckham discusses distance with her son Brooklyn.
Victoria Beckham said in a Wall Street Journal interview that she and husband David Beckham have always aimed to be good parents, emphasizing their love for all four children. The interview, published Thursday, focused mainly on her career changes and debt repayment, and she only briefly mentioned her eldest son, Brooklyn Beckham.
Brooklyn released a January Instagram post in which he declared he no longer wished to associate with his family. He accused the Beckhams of distributing false statements and of interfering in his personal life, including an incident at his wedding where he said his mother behaved embarrassingly. The post also noted that Brooklyn’s wife, actress and model Nicola Peltz, was allegedly targeted by his parents.
Brooklyn is 28 and has a son. He has been absent from recent family public events. He missed the November premiere of Victoria Beckham’s Netflix documentary and the March Paris Fashion Week showcase where his father and siblings attended. David and Victoria Beckham’s other children are sons Romeo (23), Cruz (21) and daughter Harper (14).
