The Academy of Country Music announced nominees for its 2026 awards on Thursday. Lainey Wilson is a repeat nominee for Entertainer of the Year after winning the previous year. She is joined by Megan Moroney, Jelly Roll, Morgan Wallen, Luke Combs, Cody Johnson, and Chris Stapleton in that category.
For Song of the Year, Wilson’s “Somewhere Over Laredo” competes against Miranda Lambert & Chris Stapleton’s “A Song to Sing,” Megan Moroney’s “Am I Okay?,” Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas,” and Zach Top’s “I Never Lie.” Moroney leads all nominees with nine nods, followed by Lambert with eight and Langley with seven.
The ceremony will stream on Prime Video at 8 p.m. ET on Sunday, May 17. Performances are scheduled from artists including Murri Lambert, Wilson, Kacey Musgraves, Little Big Town, Cody Johnson, and Riley Green.
Additional nominations cover categories such as Female Artist of the Year, Male Artist of the Year, Group of the Year, Duo of the Year, New Artist awards, Album and Single of the Year, Music Event of the Year, Visual Media of the Year, Songwriter of the Year, and Artist‑Songwriter of the Year.
