Man hospitalized after shooting incident in northwest Miami.
Miami‑Dade County police received a ShotSpotter alert at approximately 7 p.m. Thursday near the intersection of Northwest 58th Street and Northwest 13th Avenue. Officers arrived to find no injuries at that location.
Within about six minutes, deputies dispatched to a separate incident near Northwest 21st Avenue and 69th Street responded to reports of a man in his late 40s who had been shot.
The victim was transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s trauma center. Hospital officials have not released details about his condition.
Both incidents are under investigation by Miami Police Department and Miami‑Dade County Sheriff’s Office. No additional arrests or injuries have been announced to date.
