Seven individuals sustained injuries in a collision near Fort Lauderdale‑Hollywood International Airport on Friday afternoon. Five of the injured were reported as seriously hurt, one of whom is a child. Those patients are being transported to the Broward Health Medical Center trauma center for treatment. Two adults have received minor injuries.
