Two Arrested Following Deerfield Beach Robbery and Shooting
Deerfield Beach, Fla., authorities reported an attempted robbery and shooting on Friday night. The incident occurred at approximately 7:20 p.m. in the 1100 block of South Military Trail. Two men known to the victim confronted the individual at gunpoint. One suspect discharged a firearm during the confrontation, but the victim escaped without injury.
The Broward Sheriff’s Office arrested Gedarious Antwan Geffrard, 31, on Saturday and Seth Jemmy Bain, 57, on Sunday. Both are charged with armed robbery and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Geffrard also faces charges of fleeing and eluding at a high speed, resisting without violence, and several drug‑related offenses.
As of Monday afternoon, both suspects were held at the Broward County Main Jail. Geffrard was held without bond, while Bain was assigned a $50,000 bond. The investigation continues under local law‑enforcement oversight.
