Fort Lauderdale police report two victims seriously wounded in shooting incident.
A shooting incident occurred on the evening of Wednesday in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Police were dispatched to the 2500 block of Northwest 21st Street at approximately 9:00 p.m. after receiving a report of a possible gunshot. Responding officers found two adults on the scene with gunshot wounds.
Both victims were transported by Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue to Broward Health Medical Center with life‑threatening injuries. While en route, medical crews administered whole blood transfusions.
Fort Lauderdale police detectives are currently investigating the event. No suspect information has been released, and the investigation remains active. No arrestee has been identified at this time.
