Vehicle hits pedestrian in Fort Lauderdale, killing her
Fort Lauderdale police are investigating a fatal pedestrian incident that occurred around 8:30 p.m. on the 1700 block of North Federal Highway. A woman was struck by a vehicle and transported to Broward General Hospital as a trauma alert. Hospital staff pronounced her dead upon arrival.
