Ted Lasso Season 4 Debuts This Fall, First Trailer Drops
A teaser trailer for “Ted Lasso” Season 4 was released on April 28. The Apple TV+ series brings back the main cast, including Jason Sudeikis as the American coach, Hannah Waddingham as owner Rebecca Welton, and Brett Goldstein as former player Roy Kent. Supporting roles return from Juno Temple, Brendan Hunt and Jeremy Swift, and new characters include Tanya Reynolds, Jude Mack, Faye Marsay, Rex Hayes, Aisling Sharkey, Abbie Hern and Grant Feely.
The new season is set to air on August 5, 2026, on Apple TV+. It follows Lasso’s return to Richmond, this time coaching a second‑division women’s soccer team. The storyline centers on building the squad into a competitive outfit, mirroring the success he once achieved with the men’s team in the same city.
Season 3 concluded in 2023 with Lasso leaving England for Kansas City to be with his son, while a brief teaser hinted at the upcoming women’s team premise. The network confirmed the cast lineup and premiere date ahead of the new season’s launch.
