Stars of ‘Charlie’s Angels’ all survived breast cancer – NBC 6 South Florida

Charlie’s Angels stars beat breast cancer and survive successfully

The former “Charlie’s Angels” actresses Kate Jackson, Jaclyn Smith and Cheryl Ladd reunited on April 6 at the Paley Center’s PaleyFest LA event to discuss the show’s legacy and their shared experience of breast cancer. The panel marked the 50th anniversary of the 1970s series and included a tribute to deceased co‑star Farrah Fawcett, who appeared in season one.

During a separate interview with Maria Shriver that aired April 7, the women explained how their friendship helped them cope with cancer diagnoses. All three have survived breast cancer, and the episode highlighted the personal support they offered each other during treatment.

Cheryl Ladd revealed for the first time that she had recovered from an aggressive form of breast cancer. She described the emotional toll of chemotherapy, including hair loss, and credited her husband and medical team for her recovery. Smith recalled receiving wigs from Ladd during her own treatment, while Jackson emphasized the importance of early detection and regular mammograms.

The actresses reiterated that their onscreen camaraderie translated into real‑life solidarity, underscoring the value of supportive friendships for women facing health challenges.
