Mia Hamm Leads Youth Soccer Training Camp in Fort Lauderdale
Mia Hamm, a World Cup champion and double Olympic gold medalist, hosted a soccer camp in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on Saturday. The event was held at the Baptist Health Training Complex.
Participants ranged from young players in separate drill groups to spectators taking photos with Hamm. Her presence was highlighted as an inspiration for the next generation of U.S. soccer talent.
During the day, children practiced various skills and received signed soccer balls. A few attendees were also given World Cup tickets as prizes.
Hamm emphasized that parental support is vital for athletes, noting that families should be present to encourage development. No injuries or adverse incidents occurred.
