Offset Survives Shooting Near Hard Rock, Stays Stable
Rapper Kiari Kendrell Cephus, known professionally as Offset, was shot on Monday night near the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida. The incident occurred after 7 p.m. in the casino’s valet area. Offset was transported to a hospital and is reported to be in a stable condition under close medical observation.
Seminole Police detained two individuals in connection with the incident. One of the detainees was hospitalized with non‑life‑threatening injuries, according to police statements. The remaining detainee’s status was not disclosed at the time of the report.
The casino confirmed that its operations continued normally during the event, and police stated that there was no threat to the public. No additional injuries among casino patrons were reported.
Offset is a former member of the hip‑hop group Migos. His brother, Takeoff, was tragically killed in 2022. Updated information on the case was pending from the casino and local authorities.
