Offset discharged following outside shooting near Hollywood casino
Offset, a member of the rap group Migos, was taken to the Seminole Hard Rock casino in Hollywood, Florida, after a confrontation and was shot on Monday night. The incident occurred near the casino’s exterior in the early hours of April 3, 2026. Hospital staff later released him; he was reported to be walking and in stable condition. Police confirmed that his injuries were not life‑threatening and that he did not require critical care.
The Seminole Police Department said that two persons were detained at the scene. Off‑later arrested rapper Lil Tjay was charged with disorderly conduct and driving without a valid license. A second individual was held for questioning, but no charges had been filed at the time of the report. Investigators were still working to identify others who may have been involved in the altercation.
Offset, born Kiari Kendrell Cephus, has been active in the music industry since the early 2010s as part of the group Migos, which achieved major commercial success with songs such as “Bad and Boujee.” In 2024, he disclosed that he was focusing on recovery and his family following the shooting. No additional criminal proceedings have been announced, and the case remains under investigation by local authorities.
