Joni Lamb, Former Daystar Network President, Passes Away At 65

Joni Lamb, co‑founder and former president of the Daystar Television Network, died on Thursday at the age of 65. The network statement said that Lamb had been managing serious health conditions that were worsened by a recent back injury, which ultimately led to a rapid decline in her condition.

Lamb, who began the network with her late husband Marcus in 1993, spent more than 40 years broadcasting and overseeing Daystar’s growth into one of the world’s largest Christian broadcasting systems. She was known for hosting the daily “Joni Table Talk” program and co‑hosting “Ministry Now!” with family members.

Daystar confirmed that programming will continue as scheduled, with on‑air tributes planned in the coming days. The Board of Directors expressed gratitude for Lamb’s legacy and urged supporters to keep her family in prayer.

Lamb is survived by her children—Jonathan, Rachel, and Rebecca—and her 2023 marriage to Dr. Doug Weiss. The network and family request privacy during this time.
