Darrell Sheets Leaves Note Accusing Cyberbully Amid Suicide
Darrell Sheets, a 67‑year‑old former “Storage Wars” cast member, was found dead at his Lake Havasu City, Arizona, residence on April 22, 2026. Police later confirmed the death was a suicide.
Investigators discovered a handwritten notegeven in a bathroom closet adjoining the room where Sheets died. The note alluded to harassment he had received on Facebook.
The police department investigated allegations of cyberbullying and interviewed a person identified as a suspect. The interviewee denied any role in Sheets’ death and said he had not been in Arizona at the time.
Sheets’ girlfriend reported that she had spoken with him earlier that day about financial accusations from a family member and described him as upset. In the evening, she encountered him in his office holding a gun, heard a single gunshot, and called 911.
The Mohave County Medical Examiner’s Office ruled the death a suicide. Official statements from authorities remain unchanged.
