Police Identify Individual Who Stabbed Man in Deerfield Beach
A stabbing occurred Tuesday night in the 200 block of Southwest Third Court in Deer Field Beach, Florida. Police responded around 8:45 p.m. and found a victim who was transported by paramedics to a nearby hospital. Medical staff reported that the injuries were not life‑threatening.
On Wednesday, the Broward Sheriff’s Office announced that a 28‑year‑old man named Michael Allen Stafford was taken into custody. Authorities charged him with one count of attempted first‑degree murder related to the incident. Stafford is being held without bond at the Broward County Main Jail.
The sheriff’s office said no motive has yet been identified. No further statements have been released by law enforcement. The case remains under investigation.
