Coral Springs teen, 18, named as shooting victim【】
An 18‑year‑old man named Khameran Jackson was killed in a shooting near Royal Palm Boulevard and Riverside Drive in Coral Springs, Florida. Police said the fatal shooting occurred early Thursday morning inside a townhouse community. The victim was identified by the Coral Springs Police Department on Monday, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident prompted SWAT teams to cordon off the neighborhood, and the nearby Coral Springs Tower Club apartment complex had crime‑scene tape placed around its pool. Witnesses reported a helicopter overhead and an assault rifle appeared to have been found in the pool water according to aerial footage released by local authorities.
