Miami Gardens Resident Attacks Amazon Delivery Personnel With Machete
Miami Gardens police arrested a 27‑year‑old man on Friday, May 10, 2026, after an incident involving a machete. The arrest took place on the 900 block of Northwest 196th Terrace.
Authorities report that an Amazon delivery driver was on the curb when the suspect emerged from an adjacent home and threw a machete toward her. The driver fled to her vehicle and left the area while the suspect pursued her with the weapon.
Responding officers located the suspect at his residence, where they found the machete in his possession. With assistance from the suspect’s father, the individual was taken into custody without incident.
The man, identified as Fabrice Jack Janvier, faces a charge of attempted aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. As of Monday morning, he is being held at Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center on a $10,000 bond.
