Miami Unity March Unites Brickell Residents Across Diverse Backgrounds
In Miami, a community march titled “We Are United” proceeded on April 19, 2026. Participants gathered at the Freedom Tower, the historic landmark in downtown Miami, and walked a 45‑minute route to the Unity Line in the Brickell area. The march was organized by Mosaic Miami, a local coalition that brings together religious, cultural and civic groups.
Miami Mayor Francis Suarez served as one of the organizers’ leaders, joining residents in the march’s opening segment. According to Mosaic Miami, the event welcomes participants from Jewish, Muslim, Christian, and non‑religious backgrounds, emphasizing the importance of shared understanding at the local level.
The gathering marks the third year of the march, which has reportedly increased in attendance each year. Mosaic Miami officials said the event’s purpose is to demonstrate that unity begins within the community and to inspire similar initiatives nationwide.
All activities were conducted peacefully, with no incidents reported. Mosaic Miami and city officials noted the event’s success in fostering dialogue and solidarity among Miami’s diverse residents.
