New Rock Hall Class of 2026 Ringers Unveiled by Official Announcement

Rock & Roll Hall of Fame will induct Phil Collins, Iron Maiden, Billy Idol, Queen Latifah, Oasis, Sade, Joy Division/New Order, Wu‑Tang Clan and the late Luther Vandross on November 14 at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles. The induction ceremony will be televised in December on ABC and Disney+. The next year the event will return to Cleveland.

Artists become eligible after releasing a first commercial recording at least 25 years ago. More than 1,200 industry professionals and historians voted on the nominees. Collins, already an inductee as a member of Genesis, and Sade received separate nominations in 2024. Wu‑Tang Clan, known for their 1993 debut “Enter the Wu‑Tang,” were first‑time nominees. Vandross, celebrating a posthumous honor, sold over 25 million albums.

The 2026 inductees also include British groups Joy Division/New Order and Oasis, while Bruce Allen and other committee categories will recognize early influence, musical excellence, and the Ahmet Ertegun Non‑Performer Award. Queen Latifah, Celia Cruz, Fela Kuti, MC Lyte, and Gram Parsons will receive the early influence award. The musical excellence award will honor Linda Creed, Arif Mardin, Jimmy Miller, and Rick Rubin. Ed Sullivan will enter the Hall posthumously through the non‑performer award.
