See new teaser for Legally Blonde spin‑off Elle.
A new “Legally Blonde” prequel series titled “Elle” has been announced for Prime Video, with a planned release date of July 1, 2024. The series, a Coming‑of‑Age drama, will focus on the character of Elle Woods during her high‑school years, exploring her friendships, first love, and family dynamics.
The project is co‑showrun and executive‑produced by Laura Kittrell and Caroline Dries, who previously worked on shows such as “Insecure.” Reese Witherspoon, the original Elle Woods, is also an executive producer. The lead role will be played by Lexi Minetree, who was cast after a series of auditions.
Supporting cast members include June Diane Raphael as Elle’s mother, Tom Everett Scott as her father, and several additional actors such as Jacob Moskovitz and Gabrielle Policano. The eight‑episode first season will be available exclusively on Prime Video.
