The Tallahassee, Florida, Red Lobster restaurant will close permanently on May 24. The chain’s decision to shut the Tallahassee outlet is described as a normal business adjustment influenced by local conditions, rather than part of a national closure wave.
Red Lobster’s corporate leadership, represented by CEO Damola Adamolekun, has highlighted the need to streamline assets and noted that each location’s fate is evaluated on its own merits. The final closing of the Tallahassee restaurant marks the end of an era for a historic member of the Red Lobster franchise.
