Miley Cyrus receives new Walk of Fame star in Los Angeles
Miley Cyrus was formally honored with a Walk of Fame star at 7011 Hollywood Blvd. on Friday. The ceremony began after long lines from fans who had waited for hours to see the event. The star’s unveiling took place beside the Hollywood Roosevelt hotel.
During the ceremony, designers and actors joined the pop singer. Former Versace creative director Donatella Versace and actress Anya Taylor‑Joy were in attendance. Cyrus arrived wearing a custom Versace gown that reflected the designer’s signature style.
Cyrus presented a short speech that emphasized her connection to Los Angeles, remarking that the city would form her home and that many angels had already been honored. The ceremony marked the musician’s 2 845th star added since the Walk of Fame began in 1961.
The star was dedicated to Cyrus, who has sold more than 2 55 million albums worldwide, earned ten Grammy nominations, and received three wins. She is also a best‑selling artist recognized for her appearances in film, television, and music.
The event was overseen by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce and the Los Angeles County Department of Cultural Affairs. No additional ceremonies or future plans for the star were announced at the time.
