Chelsea Griffin, Kwame Appiah End Marriage After Sunblind Era
Chelsea Griffin, formerly of Netflix’s “Love Is Blind” Season 4, and her husband, musician Kwame Appiah, announced that they are divorcing after four years of marriage. The couple posted a black‑and‑white photo on Instagram on May 15, 2026, with a caption that read “Life Update” and included emojis signaling the end of their marriage. Both parties issued separate statements in the same post confirming the divorce.
Griffin noted that the ending came on the anniversary of their wedding and explained that their lives are taking different directions. She expressed gratitude for the shared memories and hopes for personal growth, while thanking fans for their support. Appiah echoed these sentiments, emphasizing that the decision was unexpected and difficult, and that they will continue to respect each other.
Both had first met on the reality show’s dating pods and were one of three couples from Season 4 to marry on the show. Since then, they have kept fans informed via Instagram posts and appeared together at the Season 10 reunion. Their split joins a list of former “Love Is Blind” couples who also ended their marriages after the program.
