BMW driver crashes into Fort Lauderdale hearing aid store
A white BMW collided with the front of Ascent Audiology & Hearing in Fort Lauderdale on Tuesday, causing damage to the storefront. The hearing‑aid center, located at 1005 N. Federal Highway, was not structurally weakened by the impact.
Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue officials observed visible dents and cracks but confirmed that the building’s frame remained intact. One employee present at the time received on‑scene medical evaluation; the individual declined transport to a hospital.
Sky 10 aerial footage taken around 12:30 p.m. showed the extent of the entrance damage. Police officers later inspected the scene and documented the collision.
No injuries were reported by authorities, and the circumstances leading to the crash have not yet been released. The incident is under investigation by local law‑enforcement agencies.
