Miami woman accused of robbing man inside condo after meeting him on Instagram

Miami woman arrested for condo robbery following Instagram meet‑up.

A woman in Miami was taken into custody on Monday for a robbery that took place on the night of April 11 at the Paraiso Bayviews condominium at 501 NE 31st Street. Police reports state that the incident involved three women who approached a male patron who had arrived after 8 p.m. and was viewing the balance‑sheet balcony.

The victim had met 30‑year‑old Nicole Cano through Instagram and had been invited to the condo for drinks. When the women appeared, they demanded money from him. He claimed he had none, and a brief struggle followed as he tried to leave the unit.

During the confrontation, the woman’s gold chain was reportedly pulled, and a $300 gold cross pendant was taken. Despite being attacked, the victim managed to escape the condo and alert others nearby. He later identified Cano in a photo lineup.

Cano denied most allegations but admitted to arranging the meeting. She is charged with strongarm robbery and false imprisonment and is currently held at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center pending bond determination.
