Matthew Perry’s ‘Friends’ keepsakes and artwork going to auction – NBC 6 South Florida

Matt Perry sells Friends Memorabilia and Art at Auction.

A Heritage Auctions event on June 5 will auction items from the estate of former “Friends” star Matthew Perry, with all proceeds earmarked for the Matthew Perry Foundation. The foundation focuses on eliminating stigma around addiction and expanding access to evidence‑based care.

The auction catalog lists 26 original “Friends” scripts, including key episodes such as “The One With Ross’s Tan” and the two‑part series finale. Signed pilot scripts and finale portions donated by Warner Bros. will be offered, along with a 1995 Screen Actors Guild award, a replica of the yellow peephole from Monica and Rachel’s apartment, and a photo album titled “The One With the Last Supper.” Artworks by Banksy and Mel Bochner that Perry owned are also included.

Display of the items began on May 18 in Beverly Hills and will continue through May 29. Heritage Auctions will conduct the sale at its Dallas showroom and online, providing a platform for collectors worldwide to bid.

All net proceeds support the foundation’s initiatives, including a fellowship in addiction medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital, grants to community recovery programs, and the Healing Appalachia sober‑music festival. The auction aims to honor Perry’s legacy while advancing the foundation’s mission to help those affected by substance abuse.
