A shooting occurred near an apartment complex on Northeast 41st Street in Deer River Beach, Florida, on Wednesday afternoon. Investigators found the perpetrators had left the location shortly after the shooting.

The victim was shot and drove himself to Broward Health North. Hospital staff indicated that his injuries are not life‑threatening and he is expected to recover.
