Four People Held After Florida City Burglary and Armed Robbery
Four suspects were taken into custody in Florida City on Wednesday after authorities responded to a burglary and an armed robbery that occurred the previous night. Police officers first arrived at a vehicle burglary incident, detained an armed individual, and continued a search for a second suspect in the vicinity.
In a separate operation, Miami‑Dade Sheriff’s Office deputies from the Priority Response Team joined Florida City Police Department officers to arrest three suspects in an apartment located near Northwest Seventh Avenue and 14th Street near Homestead. Video footage recorded by a witness shows the coordination between the agencies as officers removed crime‑scene tape to allow patrol cars to pass.
Two of the four arrested individuals were identified by the police as participants in the Tuesday‑night armed robbery, while the identities of the remaining suspects remain undisclosed as investigators pursue the case.
