Nara Smith, a 24‑year‑old model and content creator, announced that her 2‑year‑old daughter Whimsy has been diagnosed with cancer. The announcement appeared in a video posted to Instagram after the family spent several months focusing on Whimsy’s treatment. Medical evaluation in late 2023, including imaging studies and a biopsy performed at a children’s hospital, confirmed that the cancer had already spread and required immediate chemotherapy.
Whimsy’s parents, model Lucky Blue Smith and Nara Smith, have four children together: Whimsy, 2; Rumble Honey, 5; Slim Easy, 4; and Fawnie Golden, born in 2025. Lucky Blue also has a daughter, Gravity, from a previous relationship. The family has spoken publicly about the stress of managing newborn care, additional children, and extended hospital stays.
The parents reported that supportive contact from other parents—both online and in the hospital—helped them cope during the ordeal. The family’s public presence has diminished since the diagnosis, with Smith citing the need to focus on caregiving and treatment coordination.
