Family Holds Memorial Service After Rider Hits Funeral Procession

A dirt‑bike rider, Terrell Ray, died on a Tuesday night after his vehicle collided with a hearse outside Angels of Paradise Mortuary on NW 46th Street in an unincorporated area of Brownsville, Florida. The incident occurred after the rider was traveling in the driveway outside the mortuary.

Ray was one of several local residents who had gathered at the intersection to pay respects. While no official cause of the crash was released at the time, the event drew a large crowd of family members, friends and community members.

Mahogany Johnson‑Ray, Ray’s wife of more than three years, said he had known her since middle school and that the community would feel the loss. Her statements were shared by attendees at the memorial.

A GoFundMe campaign was launched by relatives and friends to assist with funeral costs. The page remains active for donations and support.
