Top artists Taylor Swift, Bad Bunny spotlight South Florida event
Spotify released its 20th‑anniversary data set on Thursday, revealing that Taylor Swift is the platform’s most streamed artist of all time. Swift is followed by Puerto Rican singer Bad Bunny, who had held the top spot from 2020 to 2023 and reclaimed it in 2025 as Spotify’s most‑played artist of that year. Drake ranks third, with The Weeknd, Ariana Grande, Ed Sheeran, Justin Bieber, Billie Eilish, Eminem, Kanye West, Travis Scott, BTS, Post Malone, Bruno Mars, J Balvin, Rihanna, Coldplay, Kendrick Lamar, Future, and Juice WRLD occupying the remaining positions.
The company did not disclose its data‑collection methodology when contacted by the Associated Press. In addition to the artist list, Spotify published its most streamed albums, songs, podcasts, and audiobooks to commemorate its anniversary. The company, founded in April 2006, reports more than 751 million users and 290 million subscribers worldwide, holding about 31 % of the global music‑streaming market.
