Taylor Swift contributes just over $2 million to charitable causes this holiday
On Tuesday, Taylor Swift announced charitable contributions totaling $2 million. She disbursed $1 million to Feeding America and an equal amount to the American Heart Association.
Feeding America’s leadership expressed thanks, noting the gift will strengthen hunger‑relief activities during the holiday season.
The American Heart Association said the donation will support research and prevention programs and emphasized the personal connection, as Swift’s father underwent major heart surgery.
Separately, the Academy of Country Music confirmed receiving a contribution from Swift to its ACM Lifting Lives campaign, which offers financial help to musicians facing hardship.
Fans of the singer donated $13 each to Khalen Saunders’ charity, Original Element, after his brother helped him attend the Eras Tour. Saunders thanked supporters and confirmed the donated funds will be used to further community‑focused outreach programs.
