Heat outscore Pacers in Saturday night contest

Miami – The Miami Heat defeated the Indiana Pacers 142‑116 on Saturday night, extending their winning streak in a high‑scoring game played at the FTX Arena.

Bam Adebayo missed the game due to a lingering back injury that has forced him to sit out several consecutive contests; he reported improved mobility as the season progressed. Tyler Herro also sat out his ninth game, recovering from a toe contusion that has been causing him discomfort.

Without the two starting big men, the Heat entered the contest with a lineup featuring P.J. Larsson, Kel’El Ware, Andrew Wiggins, Norman Powell, and Davion Mitchell. The roster has performed well, achieving a 6–2 record with that combination; Larsson tallied 16 points and seven assists, while Ware was cleared to play after a quadriceps contusion.

Other contributors included Jaquez Jr. and Kasparas Jakucionis, both adding energy off the bench. Dru Smith notched his 50th season steal, and Nikola Jović returned to the rotation, while Simone Fontecchio remained sidelined.

The Heat continue to demonstrate depth and resilience, adapting to injuries while maintaining a strong record.
